Here we go again...I knew this was going to be hard to recall these moments so many months later. =)
I am referring to my calendar to help. On October 30th I dropped you off at school and high tailed it to Gadsden to meet Chris who brought mom half way and picked her up and headed back to get you from school. Nana came and stayed with us a few days. The next day {Halloween} we went to your school character parade. Drew took off work and we all came to see your parade. You cried for the first two laps because when you saw us you wanted to get out of line and come over. We went back to your room where you showed us all the crafts you made. I was in charge of food for the party and we had chickfila, cookies, annies snacks, fruit and drinks. I remember Beckett polishing off many nuggets. ha
Beckett, you were dressed up as Mickey and cried the whole parade too because you wanted out of the stroller but were much happier back in the classroom playing and eating. It was very cute to see you both dressed up. I remember a funny laugh for the day. If anyone else reading this remembers it was VERY windy afternoon and rain was in the forecast but held off til about 8 pm. Mom and I were walking in to the school and a big gust came along and I said "mom you better hold on your wig you don't want it to blow off." We both kind of giggled and she said something like "yes that would be scary huh...talk about a Halloween costume." She was so silly and in good spirits even when she was going through so much.
Here are some pictures from school.
Later that day we ordered pizza to go from CPK and got you kiddos ready to trick or treat. First there was a parade of costumes around the green space. Then the trick or treating began...you went with your friends Matthew, Colin, SK and Meredith. Nana stayed in and fed Beckett pizza and answered the door for trick or treaters. There was also a wagon ride that Tim & Lyndsi did for the kids around the neighborhood. We finished the hay ride just as the rain came in so we got lucky.
Here you kids are looking cute. Your bandana was your papa's and Nana made your cow vest JB. Beckett, that was the same costume JB wore except you wouldn't wear the ears. Nana also made those shorts two years ago when JB was Mickey.
